Just made my reservations for Funfest.  I think I will wait til closer to the show before I make a decision to take the convertible (towed behind Westy).  Hate to spend $15 for a second vehicle, then not take it and be out 15 that I could have spent on parts/swap.  Need to do some trial runs, towing it behind the Westy to see if it's even a viable option.

Still planning on camping out of the Westy on the Mid-America campus.......

I too plan on camping out in Westfalia. I will bring my side tent too, just for kicks and giggles and it will look cool.

I have a change of plans...hehe. Mom and Dad are pulling their camper. Dad wants to stay for the Hot Rod Power Tour. Does anyone know if Mid America is allowing people to camp on sunday night?  Or can you pull a camper and car trailer into Mid America on monday? We are staying at the lakewood campground about 5 minutes away (showers). Grin

Mike,

We  are staying for the Hot Rod Power Tour as well. I guess we planned on spending the night on the MA grounds too. You do kind of wonder with this being a National event how many people may be coming in on Sunday night?  I may make an inquiry to see if they do have any restrictions.

Lakewood-Wildwood LOL Had to edit my post haha! Well I would be fine with staying at the campground into Monday morning but I think 10 AM you have to pull out. I thought if we pulled into Mid America monday morning with a trailered car and camper they might frown upon me Embarrassed I need to do some calling Monday.......thanks Grin

We're staying through Monday as well.  I didn't give it much thought.  I doubt the campground is that busy on Monday so I figured they might put up with a late check out.  If you find out something one way or the other let me know.

Ok, I am waiting on an email from "upper(crust, lol)" management on the transition from sunday to monday at mid america....I was told no on the staying over sunday night but maybe they might allow camping if there was enough people asking. They are gonna email me also on the fact if you can pull a camper/trailer in to the grounds on monday morning. (I don't want to pay for a night for camping if im not staying monday night) I was told these were good questions that haden't been thought of......

I didn't think we had to pay for camping?

I just noticed, if you haven't registered yet, when you do, select the one that's for CLUB parking, for anyone that wants to park with us.

Oooops!  I didn't think about "club parking".  Oh, well, we will get it all figured out when we get over there.
